See those circular saws? It's these guys that are replacing the death spikes that were occasionally used in Feedwater to block passages. When you crush them with a boulder, they splinter into pieces with sparks flying out.

Version 0.13 also updates the exit sprite from a pile of gold (drawn in the wrong perspective!) to a fire exit sign on the floor. I still don't love it, but it's an improvement:
