The white circle is gone! The player has been transformed into an animated character who can walk, run, and push boulders around dynamically. This is just the first iteration of the character, but it's a good enough starting point. In my mind, he's called Foreman Blues, wears a green wax jacket and blue jeans, and has a receding hairline.
